This information will be used to select a piece o f fabric with a texture and/or color that represents a particular emotion to them. A bumpy fabric could represent uncertainty\, while a shiny fabric could represent ambition. Different colors can also represent different e motions. For example\, a fabric representing joy might be made of bright c olors. A fabric showing "mad" might have a red or smoky print. With the se lected piece of fabric as the base\, students will create an “Emotion Cr itter” that enhances and represents the chosen emotion. Students will cu t out front and back shapes from fabric\, pin with safety pins\, stitch\, and fill. An alternate option to stitching is tying longer pieces of fabri c together or gluing.
