SUMMARY:Acrylic Painting Class for all Levels (Session 5 of 5)
DESCRIPTION:Acrylic Exploration: Techniques\, Color Mixing and Creating Tex
 tures (session 4)\n\nIn this class\, students will explore color and techn
 ique through hands-on practice and guided experimentation. We’ll learn h
 ow to mix colors with confidence\, use complementary colors to create bala
 nce\, and build rich textures that add depth and interest to a painting. S
 tudents will come away with a stronger understanding of color\, texture\, 
 and value to apply in their own work.\n\nThis is a 5-part class\, consisti
 ng of two-hour sessions occurring on the following dates:\n\n 	May 4\n 	Ma

 e.\n\nMaterials provided: All materials will be provided but students may 
 choose to purchase their own canvases\n\nMaterials to bring: Wear painting
  clothes or apron recommended - acrylic paint does not wash out. Bring wat
 er to drink if desired.\n\nInstructor Bio\n\nBeverly Davis has a degree in
  Visual Communications from the Art Institute of Seattle\, majoring in Ill
 ustration and Graphic Design. Art has been threaded through her life exten
 sively from commission work and involvement in the local Art Guild in Bell
 ingham\, Washington to teaching art enrichment classes and private lessons
 .\n\nPainting since 1990\, Bev is best known for her realistic style which
  brings portraits of animals and people to life. She\ncontinues to explore
  the use of light and color in her paintings to capture the beauty of the 
 Pacific Northwest where she lives.\n\nCurrently Beverly sells her work onl
 ine (BevsArt.com) and at the Whatcom Art Market\, a local co-op gallery. M
