
Creating fluid art is an amazing way to relax and enjoy creating.
In this class, you will learn the bloom technique using acrylic paints. You will learn how to mix your paints as well as the step by step process involved in creating a lovely bloom. You will create three art pieces to take home: two 4×4 canvases and one larger 8 x 8 canvas.

Artist Bio:
Sierra pours her love of nature and people into her art, creating something to share through film, graphics, resin, watercolor, oils, acrylics, and mixed media. She uses techniques including collaging, acrylic pouring, string pulling, blowing, jewelry making, heat torching, and painting. Her work has been exhibited in Bellingham, Blaine, Lynden, Seattle, New York, and Timor-Leste. Sierra was born near Bellingham, Washington, and attended both the University of Washington and Columbia University.
Sierra has been painting for over 20 years. She spent 15 years living in the post-conflict nation of Timor-Leste working child protection, gender equity, and violence prevention utilizing a transformative arts curriculum. For this work, she was awarded an Ashoka Fellowship for social entrepreneurship.
