DESCRIPTION:The special activity for this meeting will be the Art Challenge
 \, "Looking Through a New Lens".\n\nHave you ever been staring at a tree t
 runk and after some time you start to see someone's face in the bark?\n\nO
 r noticed how traffic lights can look like glowing Christmas lights when y
 ou take your glasses off?\n\nSeen shapes in the clouds?\n\nNoticed new det
 ails when you squint really hard and look up close?\n\nCreate something to
  show a subject through a new lens\, a different perspective or interpreta
 tion. Bring it to this meeting and share your work\, and vote for your fav
 orite.\n\nPrizes: 1st - $50\, 2nd and 3rd - $25\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nMonthly meet
 ing of the Whatcom Art Guild. Guests are welcome to attend and get connect
 ed with other local artists\, see what we do\, and decide if they would li
 ke to join... :)\n\nMeetings take place at the Whatcom Art Center!  Locat
