SUMMARY:Whatcom Art Guild Monthly Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Please join us in welcoming Skagit artist\, Maria Wickwire\, to
  present at our 7pm Whatcom Art Guild meeting on Monday\, March 23 at the 
 Whatcom Art Center!\n\nMaria Wickwire creates dramatic ceramic and bronze 
 sculptures mostly of women\, with a strong connection to archetypal experi
 ence. Her use of texture tells the story of their emotional life. Just as 
 our own bodies chronicle cycles of transformation as we walk through the c
 rucible of life\, Maria’s sculptures bear marks of courage they have ear
 ned along the way. Her pieces can be found throughout Oregon and Washingto
 n. \n\n\n\n    \n\n&nbsp\;\n\nMonthly meeting of the Whatcom Art Guild.
  Guests are welcome to attend and get connected with other local artists\,
  see what we do\, and decide if they would like to join... :)\n\nMeetings 
 take place at the Whatcom Art Center!  Located in Fairhaven\, at 1105 11S
 t\, Bellingham\, WA\n\nBring art for Artist of the Month competition\n\nTh
 ere will be a drawing for a $10 gift certificate from Dakota Art Store\n\n
 The librarians will be there with the WAG DVDs\, etc. Please bring any tap
 es or books you have borrowed in the past.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\
