Instructor Bio:

My paintings begin with abstraction, where emotion and memory shape the landscape before it takes recognizable form.
watercolor allows for a kind of controlled chaos, a dance between pigment and water that mirrors the unpredictability of nature itself.

I have been painting for twelve years and have been a regular at several pleine aire groups for many years, and have been exhibited by Northwest Watercolor Society, Jansen in Lynden, Scott Milo Gallery in Lynden and thanks to Whatcom Art Guild voters, several local banks. I have worked under the coaching of Lorna Libert in Studio for several years and studied under Trish Harding many times at Whatcom Technical Institute, I spent a year on an online art program “Milan.” My painting really became earnest at that time and after during covid when I put many brush miles on before the You Tube screen!
