Skip the crowded shopping aisles this December and make a gift with a true story. Or give yourself a slow, cozy afternoon of making. Either way, you’ll go home with something you made with your own hands.
In this hands-on polymer clay workshop in Bellingham, you’ll create a marbled holiday candy dish. Choose your own palette from a variety of colors. Then slice, wrinkle, and press clay shards together into a seamless marbled finish, veined with gold leaf.
Your dish is built over a bright white glazed porcelain bowl, so the inside stays clean and glossy, ready for wrapped candies and treats. The outside becomes a one-of-a-kind piece of art, and no two will look alike.
