Instructors: Please indicate clearly if there are any special conditions or limitations to participate in the class.
Payment for the class can be done in any of the following ways:
- Collect at event - cash or check (or any other form of payment you personally support)
- Self online payment - if you have existing online payment options, provide link
- Coming soon: WAC online payment - customers can pay through the WAC website. NOTE: There is a 10% payment processing fee deducted by Whatcom Art Center for this option.
Your registration submission acknowledges that you have read the Terms and Conditions below.
Your application will be reviewed within 48 hours of submission, and we will respond to you by email.
PAYMENT: If accepted, you must pay for the rental space before formally reserving your date and time. You can pay online (we will send you a link), by dropping off a check, or by cash at the Whatcom Art Market, next door to the center and open seven days a week. We recommend online payment to ensure a speedy reservation.
Website Posting and Marketing: Once the payment is secured, we will post your class details on the website within five business days, and they will remain on the site until the class is completed. Our social media volunteers will post accordingly. However, marketing the workshop is solely the responsibility of The Renter.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 30 days before the reserved start date will receive a full booking fee refund. Cancellations made less than 30 days but more than 7 days before the exhibition start date will receive a 25% refund. No refunds for cancellations made less than 7 days before the reserved start date will be provided.
Exhibition Setup and Breakdown: Exhibitors are responsible for setting up their exhibition space before the start of the exhibition and removing all artwork and materials at the end of the exhibition period. The exhibitor is responsible for any damage caused to the venue during setup or breakdown.
Artwork Liability: Exhibitors are responsible for the safety and security of their artwork during the rental period. The event organizers will not be held liable for any loss, damage, or theft of artwork or other materials displayed at the exhibition.
Promotional Materials: Renters grant permission for WAC to use images of their artwork for promotional purposes related to the exhibition, including but not limited to marketing materials, social media posts, and press releases.
Compliance with Regulations: Exhibitors must comply with all rules and regulations set forth by the downloadable policies and any local laws and regulations pertaining to the display and sale of artwork.
Indemnification: Renters agree to indemnify and hold harmless WAC and associated parties from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their participation in the exhibition.
Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed by the laws of [Washington], and any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Washington.]
By submitting the Art Exhibition Booking Form, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions and have read and agreed to policies.
