Welcome Becka Viets to our next Guild Meeting!
Becka is a broom maker and textile artist from Bellingham, who creates sustainable pieces crafted with care: from handmade brooms and vintage and naturally dyed home goods, to upcycled clothing and textiles. Becka teaches broommaking classes and collaborates annually with other local designers at Bellingham’s Upcycled Runway. Becka will show us some textile work and demonstrate how to make a broom!
Monthly meeting of the Whatcom Art Guild. Guests are welcome to attend and get connected with other local artists, see what we do, and decide if they would like to join… :)

Bring art for Artist of the Month competition
There will be a drawing for a $10 gift certificate from Dakota Art Store
The librarians will be there with the WAG DVDs, etc. Please bring any tapes or books you have borrowed in the past.
