Please join us in welcoming Skagit artist, Maria Wickwire, to present at our 7pm Whatcom Art Guild meeting on Monday, March 23 at the Whatcom Art Center!
Maria Wickwire creates dramatic ceramic and bronze sculptures mostly of women, with a strong connection to archetypal experience. Her use of texture tells the story of their emotional life. Just as our own bodies chronicle cycles of transformation as we walk through the crucible of life, Maria’s sculptures bear marks of courage they have earned along the way. Her pieces can be found throughout Oregon and Washington.

The librarians will be there with the WAG DVDs, etc. Please bring any tapes or books you have borrowed in the past.
